Job Nathaniel Johnson, 34, of York, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, while medical staff worked valiantly to revive him.

Job was born on February 1, 1991, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, to Roland Scott Johnson and the late Althea M. Johnson. From the age of four, he was lovingly raised by Cynthia L. White, then married Roland, who cherished him as her own son.

A special figure in Job’s life was Ron Owens, who served as a father figure, mentor, and guiding presence throughout his life.

Job’s life was one of complexity, strength, and deep love. He had a resilient heart, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong bond with his children. His presence, laughter, and loyalty will be missed beyond words.

Job was a devoted father, a loyal brother, and a man with a kind and vibrant spirit. He leaves behind his beloved children: Nkosi N. Johnson, Kijani L. Johnson, Moyo J. Johnson, and an unborn child. He shared these blessings with Carrie Lewis, the loving mother of his children.

Job was a driven entrepreneur with a deep passion for music. He founded 26Media, his personal music label, with the vision of helping local artists cultivate and refine their talents. In addition, he was the proud owner of Land Guru LLC, a real estate company he built through vision and determination. With a heart for uplifting others, Job also established a nonprofit organization, Nation Builders Group, dedicated to empowering individuals in low-income communities to build their own wealth and create sustainable futures.

Job is survived by his father, Roland Scott Johnson; his second mother, Cynthia L. White; and his siblings: Jacob A. R. Johnson, Rolanda J. Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Precious E. A. Johnson, Solomon E. Harris, Darric D. Harris, and Leah Johnson. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Eller W. Johnson (1948 – 2011). Job is also lovingly remembered by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends who cherished him deeply.

Anyone that wishes to view may do so from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Saturday morning, June 7, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
