Mr. Jean Older Hector70, of Hagerstown, died Monday evening, October 31, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Mr. Hector was born on June 21, 1953, in Haiti. He retired from the banking industry in his native country.
Surviving are his children, Addline Hector of Hagerstown, Amilca Hector of New York City, and Michelaine Hector of Hagerstown; and by his brother Pressoir Hector of Florida.
Mr. Hector was preceded in death by his long-time companion Rosette Desir, who preceded him in death in 2014.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with arrangements. A service will be held graveside at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown on Wednesday, November 8, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Randy A. Buchman officiating. Family and friend will gather just inside the main gates of the cemetery. A procession to the grave site will begin moments prior to 11:00 AM.
