Mrs. Jane S. (Stouffer) Klinefelter, 99, a resident of Pelican Landing, Sebastian, FL and formerly of North Wales, PA and Quincy, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Born March 2, 1926 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul L. and Helen (McFerren) Stouffer.
Mrs. Klinefelter grew up in Waynesboro, graduating from Waynesboro High School with the class of 1944 and then attended the Waynesboro Business College.
In her early life, she worked at Frick Co., Waynesboro, then while living in North Wales, she worked as a secretary for Leeds & Northrup, which was an electronic equipment business, until she retired on October 1, 1990.
Mrs. Klinefelter was a member of the National AARP.
She is survived by her children: a daughter, Patricia Jo Klinefelter Traynor, Florida and Joseph A. Klinefelter, Quincy, PA; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Marjorie Ebner; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas F. Klinefelter, II; one sister, Mary Louise Dunkelberger; and two brothers, J. Seth Stouffer and Kinny Stouffer.
A memorial service will announced at a later date. Private burial will be held in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA.
