Henri Coene, Jr., 71, of Chambersburg, PA went Hom to be with The Lord Jesus Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born March 5, 1952 in Morristown, NJ he was the son of the late Henri Coene, Sr. and Inez (Turner) Coene.
He was employed as an assembler at Harley Davidson, York as well as a golf course maintenance man at Basking Ridge Golf Course, Basking Ridge, NJ. Henri was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding his Harleys with his family and friends as much as possible. He also enjoyed going camping with his family and church, sitting under his favorite tree with a cup of coffee, and sharing his testimony and love of the Lord with others. Henri also enjoyed Civil War reenacting and was an extra in the movie Gettysburg.
He is survived by his wife, of 27 years Sherrie (Lentzsch) Coene; three children, Machion Coene and her boyfriend Jordan Punt, Jordan Coene and his wife ChyQuonda, and Jessica Coene; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Dylan, and Murron; a brother Charles Coene; a nephew John Henri Coene; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John Coene.
A “Farewell See-Ya Later Fellowship Celebration” Services will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 30, 2023 at the Eagles Lodge, 350 Woodside Lane, Bridgewater, New Jersey 08807, as well as, 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2023 in Kauffman Community Center, 7289 Ruritan Dr, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
