Mrs. Harriet A. (Toms) DeRigo, 83, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026, in her home.
Born January 6, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harry Q. and Ruth A. (Elam) Toms.
She graduated from Smithsburg High School, Smithsburg, MD, with the Class of 1961.
Mrs. DeRigo held several jobs throughout her life performing a wide variety of duties. She formally retired three different times and was known for her trade of working three jobs at a time.
She enjoyed crocheting and crafting pieces that were made with love. She looked forward to playing bingo and treasured the simple happiness it brought. She had a deep love for her pets, who were part of her family. Above all, she loved her family deeply. Being a mother, grandmother, and friend was her greatest joy.
She is survived by her one son, Brian DeRigo and his wife Lacy of Greencastle, PA; her lifelong partner of over 20 years, Vance Warford of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Skye DeRigo, Anthony DeRigo, Jr., Rayna Merideth, and Taylor DeRigo; three great-grandchildren, Emma Bowers, Alex Merideth and Grayson DeRigo; and 8 siblings, Katie, Dottie, Patty, Jimmy, Marshal, Maggie, Sharon, Debbie, and Shelia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Albert A. DeRigo, Sr., one son, Albert A. DeRigo, Jr., and one brother, Harry Q. Toms, Jr.

Burial in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Waynesboro, will be private.
