Mrs. Greta (Olson) Milley, age 96, passed into the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 from Chambers Pointe in Chambersburg, PA.
She was born July 6, 1928 to Gustav and Olga Olson in Stamford, CT.
She was a member of the Washington Union Alliance Church, New Castle, PA and upon retirement a faithful adherent of The Open Door Church, Chambersburg, PA.
She attended and graduated from Stamford, CT schools and Nyack College, NY in 1956.
Upon graduation and marriage to Rev. Ronald G. Milley (of Toronto, Ont.), they ministered and pastored in Christian & Missionary Alliance churches in Maine, Ontario, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. She was involved in Christian Education and music.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ronald G. Milley. She is survived by her children, Barbara Milley Jenkins of Spring Lake, NC and Frank Milley (his wife Anne) of Chester, CT, grandsons Phillip and Andrew Jenkins, granddaughter Cara Milley and great grandsons Jameson and Liam Jenkins, and sister Mary Ann Olson of Stamford, CT.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Greta’s name to the Open Door Church, 600 Miller St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
