Mrs. Goldie Lorraine Fortunato Gladhill, 88, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown. She was the wife of William R. Gladhill, her husband of 45 years.
Born Oct. 6, 1924, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Seamon and Jenttie May Henry Fortunato.

Mrs. Gladhill was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Hagerstown.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her stepson, John W. Gladhill and wife Mary of Sykesville; her grandson, Ryan W. Gladhill and wife Samantha of Baltimore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Catherine Linquist, Nellie Spigler, Jane R. Hoover and Sam S. Fortunato.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is handling the arrangements. There will not be viewing or visiting at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, 1 p.m., from her church, Concordia Lutheran Church, 17906 Garden Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21740. The Rev. Emil Gretaroson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday
Inurnment will be in Rocky Gap Maryland Veteran Cemetery, Flintstone, Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church.
