Mr. Glenn E. “Buddy” Martin, Jr., 72, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at The Village at Luther Ridge, Chambersburg, PA.
Born August 9, 1953 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Glenn E. and Doris E. (Harbaugh) Martin. He was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area.
Buddy graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1971. He later received his Associates Degree from Penn State University.
He worked for over 20 years with the family business, Martin Service Center, in Waynesboro. He also worked as an engineer for over 15 years at Landis Tool Company, Waynesboro and several years with Waynesboro Design Service.
Buddy was a member of William Max McLaughlin V.F.W. Post #695, Waynesboro and was an avid fan of Penn State football.
He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, building model airplanes, tinkering in his garage and in his younger days, riding dirt bikes.
He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie D. Behnke (Kevin) and Jennifer L. Martin (Forrest Cartwright), both of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Jordan, Alison, Katie, Eden and Tirza; one sister, Glenda McCulloh (Dean) of Waynesboro; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Joanna Channing and one nephew, Chris McCulloh.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
