Chef Glen Lee Davis, II, 36, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, died late Friday morning, January 12, 2018, at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Born December 30, 1981, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, he was a son of Lt. Col. Glen Lee Davis, Sr., (Ret.), and Nancy Joy Holmberg Davis.
Glen graduated in 2000 from Massaponax High School, Fredericksburg; and the Culinary Arts from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, Richmond; and was employed as a chef.
He was a member of Chancellor Baptist Church, Fredericksburg; and of the American Culinary Federation.
Surviving, besides his parents, is his brother, Christopher Davis and wife Dappahanie; a niece and nephew, Miranda and Emmitt Davis; his paternal grandmother, Ruth S. Davis of Hedgesville, West Virginia; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
Glen was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gordon L. Davis; and maternal grandparents Rev. Roy E. and Doris J. Holmberg.
The Andrew K. Coffman, Hagerstown, is handling the arrangements. There will not be visiting at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street, Hagerstown, Friday, January 19, at 1 PM, with the Revs. Ronald K. Faith and Ronald D. Lawler officiating.
