Gladys R. Hill, 84, of Marion, PA, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Concordia at SpiritTrust Lutheran the Village at Luther Ridge. She was born on April 14, 1942, in Chambersburg, PA, to the late Luther Houser and Ethel Blanche (Wagaman) Stouffer.
Gladys was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She previously worked for C. Earl Brown Inc. and most recently worked for Occupational Services Inc. She attended Antrim Brethren in Christ Church and Harbor Light Temple, both in Chambersburg, PA. She enjoyed taking care of her beloved cats, watching nature, and feeding the birds, squirrels, and rabbits.
She is survived by her sons Richard S. Hill III of Lewisberry, PA; Gregory Lee Hill (Takako) of Japan; sister Louise Payne of Oakdale, PA; brother Wayne Stouffer (Peggy) of Waynesboro, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Richard S. Hill II and her sister Ruby Stouffer.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church 24 Kauffman Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Casey Hurst officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the church. Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center has been entrusted with the arrangements.
