Mr. Gerald Ray Angle, 88, of Quincy, PA passed away Tuesday morning, August 25, 2026, in the Huntingdon Park Nursing Home, Huntingdon, PA.
Born September 25, 1937 in Waynesboro, PA he was the son of the late Lloyd R. and Mary V. (Heinbaugh) Angle.
He graduated from Quincy High School with the Class of 1955.
Mr. Angle worked at Valley Quarries, Chambersburg, PA, as a concrete truck driver. He retired after more than 41 years of service with the company.
He was a member of Mountain Top Ministries, Orrtanna, PA and had attended services at Mont Alto United Methodist Church. He also served 10 years with the United States Army National Guard. In his early life, he was active with 4-H.
Mr. Angle loved to go dancing, especially at Rocky Top, Pen Mar Park and Mont Alto State Park. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing, tractors, antique cars and caring for animals. He loved the simple things in life, especially the outdoors and he was known for caring for those around him, especially those less fortunate.
He is survived by one sister, Norma L. Miller of Quincy, PA; his sister-in-law, Gloria Angle of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jean D. Slaybaugh and one brother, Richard H. Angle.
Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 28, 2026, in the Mont Alto United Methodist Church, 10 S. Main St., Mont Alto, PA., with Pastor Frank Kocek officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy, PA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Friday morning, in the church.
