George Stewart, a respected husband, father, stepfather, grandfather and retired U.S. Army veteran, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family. He was a long-time resident of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Following his military service, he continued to demonstrate his commitment to public service as an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, where he contributed significantly to maritime safety initiatives and community engagement efforts. During his retirement, he pursued his interest in mechanics and riding motorcycles, frequently assisting neighbors and friends while sharing his knowledge and expertise.
George will be recognized for his steadfast dedication, approachable demeanor, and consistent generosity. His contributions have made a lasting impact on his family and the broader community.
