Mr. Gary L. Hunter, 80, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 in Chambersburg, PA.
Born June 11, 1944 in Conneaut, OH, he was the son of Thomas L. and Nina (Hazeltine) Hunter.
Gary served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
A truck driver, Gary logged thousands of miles on his long-haul routes over the years.
He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
He is survived by one daughter, Kerri Burrows and her husband, Joe; granddaughter, Kaitlyn; sister, Barbara Brockett; and nieces, Linda Noles and Kelley Smith and her husband, Thomas.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by brothers, David James Hunter and Thomas W. Hunter.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
