Mr. Franklin E. “Frank” Kesselring, 67, of Greencastle, PA, passed away, Saturday, August 24, 2024, in the Waynesboro hospital, Waynesboro, PA.

Born September 27, 1956, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late James D. and Helen M. (Reese) Kesselring.

He attended Greencastle Antrim Elementary School and Waynesboro High School.

He and his wife, the late Dolly S. Maye (Carbaugh) Kesselring were married May 26, 2001, at Needmore Bible Church, Needmore, PA. They enjoyed 22 years together when Dolly passed away in May of 2024.

He was employed as a truck driver for various businesses including Valley Protein, Terry Hill, PA for 10 years; Crouse Trucking, Carlisle, PA for 1 year as a milk truck driver; Lemans Eggs, Marion, PA for 5 years and most recently, J.B. Hunt for 5 years.

He was a member of Ebenezer United Brethren Church in Greencastle and the American Rifle Association. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved to pass time by playing a game of Spades on the computer. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks and loved the great outdoors where he did some occasional hunting and fishing.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Roberta Kesselring of Hagerstown, MD; a grandchild, Audrianna; his siblings: Dorothy Knox, of Chambersburg, PA, Barbara A. Schetrolmpf, of Path Valley, PA, Mary C. Hose, of Hagerstown, and Eddie Kesselring of Greencastle; and many nieces and nephews.

In additions to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony W. Kesselring, his siblings: Dennis Ray Kesselring, Charles David Kesselring, Gary Wayne Kesselring, and Donna May Kesselring.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Macedonia United Brethren Church Cemetery, 11887 Worleytown Road, Greencastle, with Pastor Greg Helman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9:45 A.M., until 10:45 A.M., in the Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle, Wednesday morning.
