Mrs. Frances Ida Lohman Myers Webber, age 98, formerly of Hagerstown, and more recently of Martinsburg, West Virginia, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023, peacefully at home for the last four years, Genesis Care Haven Center, Martinsburg. She was the wife of the late Rev. Herbert F. Myers, her husband of 65 years, and the late Mr. William A. Webber.
     Born June 1, 1925, in Sharpsburg, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Howell and Ruth Irene
Churchey Lohman.
     She owned and operated Fran’s Beauty Salon, Williamsport, for 23 years, and had worked formerly with L’Aiglon Apparel
Inc., Miracle Mart, and the Catalog Department of Sears and Roebuck, all of Hagerstown.
     Frances was a charter and active member of Hagerstown First Church of God.
     Additionally, she was a former charter member of Boonsboro Lioness
Club, and member of Sharpsburg Lioness Club.
     Surviving are her children, Diane M. French and husband Shane of Hagerstown, Kay E. Pepa of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and Carl F. Myers of Hughesville, Pennsylvania; by four grandchildren, Holly Loudin, Corean Freeman, Angelica Pepa-Ball and Dustin French; eight great grandchildren; and thirteen great, great grandchildren; by her brother Roger S. Lohman of Sharpsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     Besides her husbands and parents, Frances was preceded in death by twin daughters Ruth A. Statler and Naomi M. Younger; and siblings David S. Lohman and Ardella R. Griffin.
     Special thanks from the family to Care Haven and Hospice of the Panhandle for the wonderful care and attention during the last years and months of France’s life.
     The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, on Sunday, July 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday, July 24, beginning at 11:00 AM, with her pastor, Rev. David W. Sword, officiating.  Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
