Mrs. Edith L. (Ingels) Snader, 94, formerly of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born November 7, 1930 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Grace (Kelly) Ingels.
Mrs. Snader attended Waynesboro High School.
She and her husband, the late Robert G. Snader, were married May 13, 1950. They were together for over 42 years when he passed away February 12, 1993.
Mrs. Snader was employed at Funk’s Drug Store during her school years. However, she was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a member of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Snader enjoyed family gatherings, doing puzzles and word finds.
She is survived by three children, Robert G. Snader, Cynthia S. Eaton and her husband, Dave and David E. Snader, all of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, David Eaton, II, Erin McKusker, and Robert G. Snader, III; three great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Oliver and John, and one great-great-granddaughter, Kaisleigh; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara E. Snader; nine sisters, Mildred Newcomer, Renie Schildt, Florence Heckart, Alice Sadler, Faye Schmidt, Elsie Gintner, Dorothy Ingels, Agnes Ingels and Patricia Kramer; nine brothers, Richard Ingels, Fred Ingels, Albert Ingels, Leonard Ingels, Donald Ingels, Robert Ingels, Paul Ingels, Earle Ingels and Bruce C. “Whitey” Ingels; and half-brother, Roy Miller.
A celebration of Edith’s Life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 23, 2025 in the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren, 117 S. Church St., with Pastor Andrew Paterno officiating. Burial will be private in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Saturday August 23rd, in the church.
