Mrs. Dorothy M. “Dot” (Benchoff) Martin, 87, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, in Brookview Healthcare Center, Chambersburg, PA.
Born May 1, 1938 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Evelyn M. (Singer) Benchoff.
She was a lifelong resident of Waynesboro, graduating with the high school class of 1958.
She and her husband, Ronald C. Martin were married June 6, 1959 in Waynesboro.
Mrs. Martin was primarily a homemaker, but enjoyed work in her earlier years working in retail stores.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Kelly S. Martin and her husband Clint of Waynesboro, Stacy R. Mowen and her husband Ronald of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Melissa L. MacLean and her husband Scott of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Brandi J.Martin, Kaitlyn M. Platt and her husband Shawn, and Kyle Mowen; four great-grandchildren, Paige E. Brennan, Carly Brennan, Joshua L. Platt, and Raylin M. Platt
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
