Mrs. Dorothy Grace (Hunsecker) Heintzelman, 97, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Friday morning, May 17, 2024, in the emergency room of the Waynesboro Hospital.
Born April 27, 1927 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Mary (Zeek) Hunsecker.
In her early life, Mrs. Heintzelman worked in the Heinz Factory, Chambersburg. She later worked for several years at Knouse Foods, Chambersburg.
She was an avid seamstress, who loved reading and cooking.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Carey of Waynesboro; one grandson, Rodney Hunsecker; and two great-grandchildren, Caitlin Hunsecker and Colton Hunsecker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Rodney Hunsecker; and one brother, Joseph Hunsecker.
Services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 23, 2024 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. Burial will be private in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Thursday evening, in the funeral home.
