Mrs. Dorine K. (Socks) Angle-Wolgemuth, 82, of Waynesboro, PA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Paramount Senior Living, Fayetteville, PA, following a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Born June 13, 1944, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Goldie (Keefer) Socks.
She and her husband, the late Jan Wolgemuth, were married April 16, 2004. They enjoyed 20 years of marriage together before Jan passed away December 26, 2024.
In her earlier years, Mrs. Angle-Wolgemuth worked for Douglas Pastry. However, she was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a member of Antrim Brethren Christ Church, Chambersburg, PA. She enjoyed reading, gardening, baking, babysitting, spending time with her family, and being an overall caregiver to anyone who needed it.
She is survived by her son, Rick Angle, and his wife Holly of Waynesboro; her stepson Phillip Wolgemuth and his wife, Christine of Chambersburg; one grandson, Ethan Wolgemuth; 3 great-grandchildren, Audrey Brown, Landon Brown, and Hannah Brown; one brother, Samuel “Billy” Socks; and her son-in-law, Shannon Brown.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony “Tony” Angle; one daughter, Wanda Gauger; her son-in-law, Paul Gauger; one granddaughter, Brandie Brown; and her siblings, Jacob Socks III, Gerald Socks, and Terry Socks.
Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, with Pastor Casey Horst officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Chambersburg.
