Miss Delores Ann Creager, 81, passed away from this life into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from Laurel Lakes Rehab in Chambersburg, PA.
Delores was born on April 16, 1944, in Waynesboro, PA to Eugene Brooks Creager and Kathryn Embly Creager.
She spent most of her life in the Greencastle, PA area, graduating from Greencastle Antrim High School was the class of 1962.
After some years in employment as a CAN in health care facilities, Delores changed careers to a Customer Service Representative at Citicorp in State Line, PA. She retired in 2009 following fifteen years of exemplary service, complemented with many services awards.
As a Christian believer, Delores was always a part of a Bible believing and preaching congregation, including State Line United Methodist Church, Zion Assembly of God, and Five Forks Brethren in Christ. She frequently was a leader of small-world Bible studies. She also completed many correspondences Biblical studies.
Delores’ other interests including all manner of crafts and sewing, cooking, and word search puzzles. Quality was a high match word of her work. She was of generous and praying heart, more often than not without the recipient(s) knowledge, but never missed by God.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by many cousins, both near and far. A service of remembrance was held at Wesley House Apartments in Quincy Retirement Village on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 P.M., with Rev. Bill Shank officiating. Burial was private on October 16, 2025, in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, Waynesboro, with her parents.
One of Delores’ very favorite Bible verseswas Isaiah 65:25 “The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, the lion shall eat straw like the ox, and dust shall be the serpent’s food. ‘They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,’ says the Lord.” Now she beholds all she has believed.
