Debra “Debbie” Sue Summerson, 69, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully Monday, June 30, 2025, at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Born September 23, 1955, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and LaRue M. (Landis) Ardinger.
A graduate of Williamsport High School, Debbie was a fun-loving person, who loved having her family around, watching her Hallmark movies, doing word searches, and playing bingo. She worked for Phar-Mor and Liberty until her declining health prevented her from working.
She is survived by five daughters, Jessica Ehmer, (Mickeal, Sr.), Heather Marie Olson, Nicole Oldham (Robert), Joni Marshall, and Sabrina Kerns (Nick); twenty-three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Ross (Terry) and Deanna Ralston (Jeffrey); and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Services will be held privately by the family.
