Miss Debra K. “Debbie” McClain, 61, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Friday morning, February 20, 2026 in her home surrounded by her family.
Born April 28, 1964, in Waynesboro, she is the daughter of the late Darryl G. and Linda I. (Wingert) McClain. She was a lifelong resident of Waynesboro.
Miss McClain attended Franklin County Learning Center and finished the program in 1985.
She was employed through OSI, Chambersburg, PA for 40 years. She retired December, 2025.
She was a member of Hollowell Brethren in Christ Church where she enjoyed doing various activities especially those involving the children.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Mark McClain and his wife Kelly of The Villages, FL, Shawn McClain and his wife Michelle of Canton, MI, Joel McClain and his wife Patty of Greencastle, PA, and Jason McClain and his wife Tonya of Falling Waters, WV; and 11 nieces and nephews, as well as an extended host of friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Shawn Michael McClain, Jr.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Hollowell Brethren in Christ Church, 14807 Hollowell Church Road, Waynesboro, with Pastor Blaine Lougheed officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Saturday morning in the church.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
