Mrs. Deborah L. “Deb” Sanders, 66, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in her home.
She was born December 5, 1959. Following high school graduation, Deb completed studies in medical coding at Hagerstown Business College. She dedicated a number of years to medical coding as well as working for WellSpan. She and her husband also owned and operated Chubbie’s Pizza & Subs in Rouzerville for many years.
Deb was a member of Cascade American Legion Post #239 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casino with her husband and dearly loved her dog, Eskay.
She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, David R. Sanders, Sr., who she married February 14, 1986; two sons, Christopher D. Sanders of Blue Ridge Summit, PA and David R. Sanders, Jr. of Waynesboro; and two grandsons, Levi and Oliver. She also is survived by her mother, siblings and a host of extended family members and friends.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
