Mrs. Deborah Denise (Miller) Goss, 71, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Sunday morning, August 11, 2024, in her home.
Born March 28, 1953 in Havre de Grave, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frank Miller, Sr. and Lenora (Francis) Miller.
Mrs. Goss was a high school graduate and later attended college to study accounting.
She and her husband, the late James C. Goss, Sr., were married in 1974. They lived at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base, San Diego, CA, and Maryland. Mr. Goss died in June 2008. Following his death, Mrs. Goss moved to Waynesboro, PA.
Mrs. Goss worked at the VA Medical Center in Part Deposit, MD prior to moving to California as a nurse’s aide. In California, she started her career as a Bix Box Retail Manager. She retired in 2007. Following her retirement, she worked at Sheetz in Waynesboro from 2010 until 2017.
She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Waynesboro and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, baking, her dogs and cats and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, James C. Goss, Jr. (Gretchen) and Mark C. Goss, both of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Nicole Goss, J.C. Goss and Jessica Goss; her siblings, Frank Miller, Jr. of Port Deposit, MD, Linda Rose of Waynesboro, and Penny Dieter of Sykesville, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Farragamo.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 P.M., Thursday, August 15, 2024 in Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD.
There will be no public viewing.
