David V. Weaver, 66, of Chambersburg passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, at home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on February 16, 1959, the son of the late George Weaver and Teresa Mae Gotwalt. David is survived by his wife, Lori Weaver; son Christopher, his wife Jannette; three grandchildren: Yukina, Sophia, and Benjamin, of Yokosuka, Japan. Also survived by his sister, Diane Weaver of York, PA, and nephew, Jacob Kritchten; brother, Damian Weaver and his wife Colleen of Lansdale, PA, nephew George and niece Anna Marie Weaver; aunt Pat Martin and her family; and uncle Charlie Gotwalt and his family. David enjoyed lifting weights, long distance swimming and walking. Also had a passion for our pets and spending time with his grandchildren. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass.
