David M. Brant, of Mont Alto, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 26, 1971 in Somerset, PA, he was the son of the late Leland Glen and Marilyn Joyce Shaffer Brant.
David was a 1990 graduate of Somerset High School. He was employed as butcher/meat manager for over 30 years at several grocery stores, most recently Save-A-Lot in Chambersburg, PA. He enjoyed cooking and listening to music.
He is survived by two brothers, Kevin Brant (wife Nellie) of Sierra Vista, AZ, and John Brant of Fairfax County, VA; a number of nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews; and his companion, Heidi Steiner of Olanta, PA. Aside from his parents, David was preceded in death by three brothers, Mark, Thomas and Brian Brant.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on September 1, 2024, in Beulah Cemetery, Somerset County, PA for family and close friends. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA. Condolences and memories maybe shared at geiselfuneralhome.com.
