Mr. David A. “Diamond Dave” Stinebaugh, 70, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD.

Born July 16, 1954 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Russell and Minta (Shank) Stinebaugh. He was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area.

Dave worked at Frick Company, Waynesboro for over 40 years.

He was a member of The Owl’s Club, Loyal Order of the Moose #1191, Eagles Club, Inc. and the Waynesboro Fish and Game, all of Waynesboro.

Dave enjoyed playing golf, throwing darts, playing poker and collecting coins and railroad memorabilia. In his early days, he also enjoyed bowling.

He is survived by three children, Linda Clark (Randy) of Waynesboro, Michael Stinebaugh of Waynesboro and Donald Stinebaugh (Shannon) of Fayetteville, PA; his grandchildren, Teeana, Shjon, Cheryl, Kasey, Katana, Dakota, Colton Sierra, Noelle and Summer; several other grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Harper, Peyton and Kenzie; one sister, Carol Ingraham (Ray) of Waynesboro; his companion, Delores Kendall of Waynesboro; three nieces and one nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kay Stinebaugh; step-son, Chad; and two brothers, Ronald Stinebaugh and John Stinebaugh.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. Burial will be private in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Wednesday morning, in the funeral home.
