Mr. David A. Harris, 71, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 in his home.
Born December 14, 1953 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late James and Cleona (Bowman) Harris.
David attended South High School in Hagerstown and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He and his beloved wife, Mrs. Diane (Souders) Harris, were married March 8, 1986. They had spent the past 44 years together, 40 of which they were married.
David was an over the road truck driver, working for Metropolitan Trucking, Bloomsburg, PA, for 24 years.
In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves behind five children, James Dobbins, Curtis Dobbins, Douglas Harris, David Harris, Jr. and Shelley Hams; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his faithful dog, Sheeba; and a number of nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two sons, James and Toby; two sisters, Beverly Miller and Patsy Harris; and one brother, Joseph Harris.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
