Mr. Daryl L. Beltz, Sr., 57, of South Mountain, PA passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born August 12, 1968 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Lester E. “Pee Wee” and Gladys M. (Hess) Beltz.
Daryl graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1987.
He and his wife, Susan L. Sanders, were married on April 22, 2013 and have been together since 1991.
Daryl was a lifelong autobody mechanic and had worked at Boswell’s Auto Body, Winebrenner Auto Body, D.L. George and Sons, Manitowoc Cranes and he was currently employed at Choice Collison Center in Mercersburg, PA.
He loved working on and restoring cars. He also enjoyed caring for his property and especially, spending time with his granddaughter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Daryl L. Beltz, Jr. (Amy Turner) of South Mountain; one granddaughter, Violet Beltz; his siblings, Darla Sanders of Smithsburg, MD, Donald Beltz of Waynesboro and Danny Beltz of Waynesboro; special nieces, Keira Berger and Leila Rohrer; and several additional nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Beltz.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 5, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA with Pastor Colin Morley officiating. Burial will follow in Strang’s Cemetery, South Mountain, PA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Friday morning, in the funeral home.
