Mr. Darryl “Bo” Creager, 79, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, in his home.
Born January 11, 1947 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Paul S. Creager, Sr. and Carolyn (Creager) Creager.
Bo worked as a heavy equipment operator for D.L. George and Sons and G.A.F. (The Grit Mill). He retired in 2011.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed planting flowers and trees and decorating his house for all the holidays.
He is survived by two children, Todd Creager (Amy) and Kathy Creager (Ty), both of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Joshua Creager, Cody Creager and Jada Creager; two great-grandchildren; his special niece, who he helped to raise, Selena Hoffman of Waynesboro; his special nephew, Brian Hippensteel of Waynesboro; one sister, Sharon Rudy of Waynesboro; and many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. (Zeigler) Creager; and two brothers, Paul Stanley Creager and Terrill Allen Creager.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 30, 2026, in Burns Hill Cemetery, E. Main St., Waynesboro, PA with Pastor Randy Davis officiating.
