Curtis Robert “Curt” Reeder, 63, of Greencastle, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, after a period of declining health.
Born July 16, 1962, in Chambersburg, PA, he is the son of Robert I. and J. Aileen (Buchanan) Reeder.
Curtis was a 1980 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. Throughout his working years, he was employed as a painter for several area businesses.
He found enjoyment in hunting, shooting pool, and working on cars. Curtis appreciated the simple things in life and was a down-to-earth man who especially cherished time spent with his family. Above all, he was a devoted father and a proud grandfather who dearly loved his grandson.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Derrick A. Reeder of Greencastle; his daughter, Amanda Dick Reeder of Kodak, TN; his beloved grandson, Alan Cobain Reeder, who affectionately knew him as “Pap Pap”; his companion, Tina Dangler of Greencastle; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by several family members who welcomed him into eternal rest.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
