Craig Dempsey

Craig Dempsey, age 56, passed away suddenly on February 6, 2025. He was born on November 6, 1969, in Hartford, Connecticut, and grew up in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, a place that remained an important part of his life. Craig was the son of William Dempsey, who preceded him in death, and Jeanette (Kaisianczuk) McGovern, who survives him. He was lovingly raised by his mother and his stepfather, John McGovern, who loved and cared for him as his own son. Craig is survived by his older brother, Shawn Dempsey, and his younger sister, Theresa Dowd, along with extended family and friends who will miss him deeply. Craig was known for being talkative, friendly, and welcoming. He had a natural ability to connect with others and never hesitated to strike up a conversation. A believer in God, his faith was an important part of his life and a source of comfort. He will be remembered for his warmth, his openness, and the many connections he made throughout his life. Craig’s presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
