Ms. Christine L. Walters, 78, of Waynesboro, PA, and formerly of State College, PA, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026.
Born July 23, 1947 in Erie, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Joy (Eckels) Goss.
She was a graduate of Chief Logan High School, Burnham, PA with the Class of 1965.
Ms. Walters worked as a secretary and asset administrator. She dedicated 24 years to Prudential and 15 years to Aris.
She was a member of State College Assembly of God. A voracious reader, she enjoyed hiking in Cook Forest and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her friends.
Ms. Walters is survived by two sons, Keith J. Walters and his wife, Sherry of Waynesboro and Barry L. Walters, II and his wife, Jeri of Lancaster, PA; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Diane Vanscyoc her late husband, Duane of Lewistown, PA; brother, Dennis Goss and his wife, Jayne of Lewistown; and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 28, 2026 in State College Assembly of God, 2201 University Drive, State College with Pastor Steve Silliman officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Benevolence Fund at State College Assembly of God, 2201 University Drive, State College, PA 16801.
