Charlotte D. (Stuckey) Lentz, left this life to begin her next chapter April 23, 2026.
Born November 4, 1925 in Rouzerville, PA, she was the daughter of Lockard and Lottie Jane (Crawford) Stuckey. Charlotte was predeceased by husband of 58 years, George A. Lentz, Jr., Son, Darryl Lentz (Gail), siblings, LeRoy Stuckey, Willard Stuckey, Herman Stuckey (Mary), Vernon “Hap” Stuckey (Frances) and Robert “Max” Stuckey (Eleanor).
Charlotte is survived by daughter Bernice L. Meeker (David), Grandson Dale A. Lentz (Rose), Granddaughter Dawn McKinnon (James), Great Granddaughters, Ryleigh Gwinnutt (Cameron), Kendra McKinnon (Kyle), and several nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was a U.S Postal Service rural carrier when she retired after 20 years. Earlier in her career she worked at Knouse Foods Apple Processing, Orrtanna, PA, Waynesboro Knitting Company, McCroys Dept. Store, and E.H. Ingram fruit farm.
Charlotte was a member of the Rouzerville Church of The Brethren.
Charlotte is lovingly remembered by her family as a devoted homemaker and talented seamstress, with a love for crocheting and quilting. She found great joy in gardening and took pride in preparing and sharing countless holiday meals with her family.
Most recently, Charlotte resided at the Quincy Village campus, Quincy, PA.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 1, 2026 in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, near Rouzerville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rouzerville Church of The Brethren, 11942 Old Route 16, Waynesboro, PA 17268.
Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, PA, is handling the arrangements.
