Mr. Charles W. “Chucky” Nolan, 41, of Fairfield, PA passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 19, 2024, as a result of a dirt bike accident.
Born December 19, 1982 in Goldsboro, NC, he was the son of Charles W. and Laurie A. (Fitz) Nolan of Waynesboro.
He and his wife, Kendra L. (Case) Nolan, were married on February 13, 2019.
In his early life, Chucky worked with his father as carpenters. For the past five years, they have co-owned Deck’d Out in Waynesboro, where they worked together installing decks, porches and patios in the local area.
He enjoyed attending gun drawings, hunting, Buffalo Bills football, Baltimore Orioles baseball and spending time with his family – especially playing with his kids.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Drayden Nolan, Charles Nolan, Jr. and Landon Nolan, all at home; one sister, Ashley Nolan of Waynesboro; one brother, Matthew Nolan of Waynesboro; his maternal grandmother, Carla Fitz of Waynesboro; and numerous extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by one infant son, Kyler Nolan; his maternal grandfather, Charles William Fitz; his paternal grandparents, Charles W. and Mildred Joyce Nolan; and his cousin, Jordon Hampton.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 24, 2024 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Friday morning, in the funeral home.
