Charles Edward “Ed” Foreman, 84, of Mercersburg, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025 peacefully in his home. Born October 14, 1940, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Donald and Florence (Hoover) Foreman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Elaine (Musselman) Foreman.
Charles is also survived by four children, Julie Clopper (Jeff) of Chambersburg, Jerry Foreman (Linzi) of Marine, Illinois, Jana Foreman of Chicago, Illinois, and step-daughter, Rhonda Rozell (Keith) of Mercersburg; nine grandchildren, Janelle Costolo (Brad), Joel Eckert, Jordan Eckert, Josh Horner (Maureen), Amber Horner, Ben Foreman, Casey Foreman (McKenzie), Luke Foreman, and Kenzi Foreman; three great-grandchildren, Christian, Gage, and Lacey; and three step-siblings, Donilee Lehman, Robilee Gordon, and Darryl Foreman.
In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by two brothers, Denny Foreman and Richard Foreman and a sister, Barbara Pittman.
Charles loved spending time with his family, animals, going to horse races and riding motorcycles. He had two fur buddies that were very attached to him, Schatzi, his German Shepherd, and Oliver, his cat.
A memorial service will be held on August 16, 2025 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Two Top Fellowship Hall, 13743 Fort Loudon Road, Mercersburg, PA 17236.
