Chad Edward Kimble, 23, of Dallas, GA and formerly of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 in Georgia from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born April 6, 2002 in Hagerstown, MD, Chad was the son of Carol A. (Kisslak) Kimble and Stacey R. Kimble, both of Waynesboro.
He was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 2020. As a student, he was a member of the Waynesboro Waves Swim Team. His dedication to swimming allowed him to attended numerous state competitions including one at Penn State. He later furthered his education at the Central PA Diesel Institute where he graduated with Distinguished Honors.
Chad was currently employed as a mechanic at Paulding Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealership in Georgia.
Chad had a true passion for diesel mechanics, both in and outside of work. He also enjoyed bull riding and NASCAR Racing. Known for his great sense of humor, he loved making others laugh.
In addition to his parents, Chad is survived by his brother, Evan Reid Kimble of Waynesboro; cousins, Justin Smith, Lucas Smith, Kayla Kopple Warner and Jessica Kopple; and a host of extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Edward and Delores Kisslak and Wayne and Barbara Kimble.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 14, 2026 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with the Rev. Danielle Neff officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Saturday morning, in the funeral home.
