Celia Ann Ryder, age 83, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born November 23, 1941, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Norman Diehl, Jr. and Clara College
Mrs. Ryder was a 1959 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim Senior high School. She was a homemaker most of her life. Mrs. Ryder enjoyed sewing, reading, and cooking.
Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Billy M. Ryder, whom she married on July 16, 1959; two children, Jeffrey D. Ryder (Steph) of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Christine S. McDonough (Jim) of Vancouver, WA; three grandchildren, Patrick McDonough (Lina) of Orondo, WA, Kelsey Jennings (Jon) of Vancouver, WA, and Brayden McDonough of Centralia, WA; three great-grandchildren, Delilah, Lumen, and Lyrin; and two siblings, Norma Repack and Jane Brechbill (Harold).
Graveside services will be private in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA.
