Mrs. Cathy L. (Creager) Flohr, 72, of Mont Alto, PA, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 in her home, following a brief battle with cancer.

Born April 9, 1952 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Sidney H. Creager, Jr. and Dorothy V. (Stitely) Creager.

Mrs. Flohr was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1970.

She and her husband of over 51 years, Jeffrey L. Flohr, were married August 11, 1972.

Mrs. Flohr was employed by the Waynesboro Area School District at Mowrey Elementary School as a teaching assistant, personal care aide and secretary. She retired in January 2017 after more than 25 years of service.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Fairview Ward.

Cathy enjoyed making cards to send to others, doing things around her home including gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Amber Parkinson of Mont Alto, Travis Flohr (Stephanie) of State College, PA and Eric Flohr (Virginia Rivera Hernandez) of Philadelphia, PA; two grandchildren, Ruth Flohr and Lucas Parkinson; two brothers, Sidney H. Creager, III (Bonnie) of Chambersburg, PA and Christopher Creager (Donna) of Scottsdale, AZ; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in Quincy Cemetery with Bishop Jared Childers officiating.
