Carol Ann Rock, 77 of Greencastle passed away on Monday. September 21, 2026 at the Leland of Laural Run. She was born June 13, 1949 in Chambersburg, PA the daughter of the late Estella (Leinbach) and Richard Mellott.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Carol was a 1967 graduate of Southern Fulton High School, Franklin County Area Vocational School in the Practical Nursing Program, graduating with an LPN in 1970 and then Hagerstown Jr. College, with an RN Associate Degree in Arts in 1989.
She was a sports fan including football, baseball and going to the NASCAR races and Family Fishing vacation trips to Canada and she enjoyed counted cross stitch and collecting shot glasses, both old and new.
Carol loved her family, was a hard worker and was always happy.
In addition to her husband, Percy Rock of Greencastle, she is survived by her daughter, Wendy Shope of Waynesboro and two brothers: Richard “Dickie” Mellott of McConnellsburg, Robert “Bobby” Mellot and his wife: Becky, of Warfordsburg.
Services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, Sept 24, 2026 at Sellers Funeral Home with a visitation held at 12pm prior to the service. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
