Mr. Carl C. Stull, Sr., 78, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, in his home.
Born January 2, 1948 in Waynesboro, PA he was the son of the late William G. and Geneva M. “Nevie” (Bakner) Stull.
He and his wife of over 59 years, Patricia (Gonder) Stull, were married October 3, 1966 in Hagerstown, MD.
Mr. Stull was a brick mason for a number of years. He eventually went to work for himself in the masonry field for over 15 years with Stull Brothers Masonry.
He attended New Baltimore Church of God, South Mountain, PA. Mr. Stull was a car enthusiast and enjoyed working on his vast collection of Ford vehicles. He also enjoyed the outdoors – especially sawing wood, deer hunting, his dogs – Smokey and Coal; and above all, spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Carl C. “Willie” Stull, Jr. and Cristina Ann Freeman (Dusty) both of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Kevin Stull, Keri Stull and Justin Freeman; one great-granddaughter, Mayzie Freeman; two sisters, Dorothy Burkett of Greencastle and Freda “Flickie” Lucas of Waynesboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Wrennis “Bubby” Stull, Clarence “Jimmy” Stull and Robert “Opossum” Stull; and two sisters, Bernice “Sally” Gourley and Lucy Claudy.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 26, 2026 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA with Pastor Lee Daywalt officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy, PA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday evening, in the funeral home.
