Braylen Mikolaj Pawlus, 8, passed away March 17, 2026, at Hershey Medical Center. He was born November 28, 2017, in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Tierra and Stephen Pawlus. He was in the second grade at Saint Thomas Elementary School. Braylen played baseball for the South Hamilton Baseball Association, was part of Mar-Le-Nie Dance Studio and the Good News Club at Brandt’s Church where he attended. He loved baseball, YouTube, traveling, videos, and being a little brother to his big brother. Braylen is survived by his parents: Stephen and Tierra (Deering) Pawlus; brother, Colbie Pawlus; sister, Kaylee Pawlus; and niece, Aubree Parks; paternal grandparents, Stan and Judy Pawlus; maternal grandparents, Robert and Dixie Deering; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, great uncles and aunts. He is preceded in death by: great grandparents, Calvin and Delsie Sell, Eugene and Joy Peoples, Mikolaj and Maria Pawlus, Cliff and Betty Deering; great uncles, Chip Peoples, Rodney Sell, Gary Sell; great aunts, Sherry Peoples, Vicki Shank, and Anna Pawlus. Braylen was a very happy go lucky boy who brought joy to anyone he came upon. He always loved to mimic his teachers, dance studio performances and any other surroundings that made him bring an unimaginable imagination to play time. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Sellers Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg.
