Mr. Boyd Eugene “Trey” Henderson, III, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Born January 27, 1994, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Boyd Eugene Henderson, Jr., of Falling Waters, West Virginia, and Patricia Marie Henry of Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Trey was welcomed into a large family by his sisters Jacqueline, Melissa, and Amanda, and his older brother Timothy, all of whom loved him deeply. Never quite content being the youngest, Trey soon had a little sister, Alice, to keep things lively.

Trey was known for his bright smile and easygoing nature. He loved dogs, wrestling, fishing, and cheering on the Patriots. He never met a stranger and always had a joke ready to share.He was a graduate of the Mountaineer Challenge Academy and enjoyed working with his hands. Over the years, he worked as a carpenter, landscaper, and in the restaurant industry.

Above all, Trey loved children. He was a proud father to his two children, Naomi and Zaylin Henderson.  In addition to his parents and children, Trey is survived by step parents Anne Henderson and Kevin Henry; step brothers, numerous aunts and uncles; cousins; and friends, including dear friends Tim Poole and Wally Shepherd, Jr., both of Hagerstown.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd and Ruth Henderson; his sister, Jacqueline Gallahan; brother in law Bilial Williamson and his grandmother, Alice Fisher, who adored him.

The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home in Hagerstown, is assisting the family with arrangements. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
