Bonnie Ann (Groce) Burkholder, 83, passed away Monday, August 20, 2024 at the Shook Home & The Quarters. She was born July 27, 1941 in Path Valley, the daughter of the late Mary and Mac Groce. She was a member of the King Street United Brethren Church, where she served on different ministries including the Pregnancy Ministry, Shepherd ministry, the choir, was a member of the Good Samaritain Sunday School Class, Choir and worked at Dress to a Tea. After she graduated from Fannett-Metal H.S., went to LPN School. She started work in Pediatrics at the Chambersburg Hospital and went on to Geriatrics at the Shook Home and Menno Haven. She had a love of flowers and flower arrangements and in between working at the retirement homes, she worked at three flower and garden shops in the Chambersburg area, finally retiring from the Butcher Shoppe in 2000. Bonnie is survived by her husband, David Burkholder, daughter, Bridget (Glen) Bruso, son, Stephen (Ashley) Fuller, brother, Mac J. (Barbara) Groce Jr, step-son, Eric (Laurie) Burkholder, step-daughter, Tiffany (Todd) Saylor, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Peter S. Fuller. A celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024 at Sellers Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Cook Officiating. Burial will be at Lincoln Cemetery.
