Betty Lee Mann, 82, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at her residence.
Born June 16, 1928, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth, Sr., and Alice Lenora Kuhlman Monn.
Mrs. Mann was a loving wife and mother.
She was a member of Holy Trinity United Church of Christ.
She volunteered with Hospice of Washington County for 10 years; and for the last 15 years, to present, has served as an auxiliary member at the John R. Marsh Cancer Center.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Marvin S. Mann, Sr., whom she married April 5, 1952; sons Marvin S. Mann, Jr., and wife Deborah C. of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and Mark T. Mann and wife Cheryl A. of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Jason E. Mausteller, Katherine E. and Shane T. Mann, and Rachel E. and Cayla A. Grimm; a great grandson, Dylan P. Mausteller; as well as a sister Nellie Virginia Keplinger of Hagerstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Mann is preceded in death by siblings Nancy Caroline Ardinger and Kenneth Monn, Jr.
Friends may call at the Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, Thursday, June 16, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
The funeral service will be at Mountain View Baptist Church, 12107 Walnut Point Road, Hagerstown, Friday, June 17, at 1:00 PM.
The Revs. Jeffrey E. Anthony and Lynn E. Munson will officiate.
Interment will follow in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
