Benjamin Michael “Benny” Browall, 21, of Waynesboro, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 from injuries he received in a motor vehicle accident.
Born January 28, 2003 in Duluth, Minnesota, Benjamin was the son of Kenneth R. Browall of Taneytown, MD.
He currently was employed in production by Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe, Inc., Chambersburg, a job he enjoyed very much as well as the people he worked with.
Growing up in Minnesota, Benjamin’s life revolved around the game of Hockey. He and his father devoted countless hours to attending practices and driving to tournaments. After moving to the area, Benjamin was able to continue his love for the game, wearing the #84 jersey for both the West Virginia Vipers and the Hagerstown Bulldogs.
More recently, Benjamin became a car enthusiast. He could often be found with his friends at local car meets, in a Sheetz parking lot or at a local coffee shop. He enjoyed sharing his new found knowledge about cars with others and was especially proud of his “GR86” that he recently had purchased. When he wasn’t working on his car, Benjamin enjoyed passing the time playing video games.
In addition to his father, Benjamin leaves behind his step-mother and confidante, Melinda H. Glover; brother, Jason Browall; step-sister, Elizabeth Glover; “big sister”, Breanna Francis; best friend and brother, Kwynce Perry; grandparents, Ronald and Nancy Browall and Margilyn Valle and her husband, Gene Tacke; and a host extended family and friends.
Services for Benjamin will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
