Mrs. Beatrice M. (Wink) Vannoy, 96, a resident of Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Waynesboro, PA passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, in the emergency room of the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born June 7, 1928, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Alfred T. and Abbie (Houpt) Wink.
Mrs. Vannoy was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and later graduated from nursing school.
She and her husband, the late Mr. Lester S. Vannoy, were married on August 6, 1950. Mr. Vannoy died on August 12, 2015.
She is survived her son Dan L. Vannoy and his wife Christy of Reidsville, NC; three grandsons, Darren, Caleb, his wife Victoria, and Jonah Vannoy.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son Larry D. Vannoy.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 23, 2024, at Green Hill Cemetery, 923 South Potomac Street, Waynesboro, PA with Pastor Rex Benchoff officiating.
