Barry Fahnestock, 79, passed away October 14, 2024, at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born December 12, 1944, in Chambersburg, the son of late Lorene (Baker) and Jacob Fahnestock. Barry served in the Air Force from 1965-1968. He achieved the rank of Sgt. He worked for Public Opinion, Letterkenny and retired from Knouse Foods. Barry was a member of the Carlisle Masonic Lodge 260. His hobbies were model kits and model railroading. He had a hobby shop at one time. Recently Barry did toy shows and had booths in the antique malls. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon (Sackman) Fahnestock and son, Scott. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sellers Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Andrew Hart officiating. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Parklawns Memorial Gardens following the service.
