Mr. Barry Douglas Spessard, 77, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Monday morning, July 29, 2024, in Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA.
Born October 2, 1946 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late John Irving and Edith V. (Hull) Lampe. He lived most of his life in the Waynesboro area, with the exception of 10 years he spent in California.
Barry graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1965.
He and his wife of over 32 years, Sue A. (Pentz) Spessard, were married on October 11, 1991.
Barry was self employed for all of his working life as a contractor and wall paper installer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Bonnie Sales of Jacksonville, FL, Diane Rielli of Jacksonville, FL, Maureen Spessard of Sabillasville, MD, and Lucas Spessard of Waynesboro; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Spessard; and his step-father, William C. Lampe.
Services and burial in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro will be private at the convenience of the family.
