Barbara Nowak, 86, passed away September 15, 2024 at home. She was born December 13, 1937, in McAdoo, PA, the daughter of the late Ann and Andrew Johnson. She is survived by her son, Michael (spouse, Gayniale) Nowak, and daughter, Melissa Bailor; grandchildren, Ashley and Dylan; a brother, Andrew and spouse, Cathy, of McAdoo, PA; a sister, Jeanne, of Davidsonville, MD; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no public service however Barbara’s ashes will be spread in McAdoo in a private ceremony at a later date. Memorial donations can be made in her name to any animal rescue of your choice.
